Los Angeles County, CA — In response to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, Thorogood®, a trusted name in work footwear, has donated 50 pairs of boots to Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), a nonprofit disaster relief organization founded by the late actor Paul Walker. This donation is part of Thorogood’s ongoing partnership with ROWW to support recovery efforts and provide essential gear to both volunteers and survivors.

“We’re so thankful to Thorogood for their continued support of Reach Out WorldWide,” said Cody Walker, CEO of ROWW. “They’ve been kind enough to outfit our team as well as contribute dozens of new boots to survivors of the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County as a part of our ongoing relief efforts there. We can’t wait to hand these boots to the residents knowing that everything we do makes things a bit easier for them as they rebuild their lives.”

The boots will be distributed directly to residents affected by the fire, helping them navigate the challenging terrain and conditions as they begin the process of rebuilding. Thorogood’s contribution underscores the importance of community partnerships in disaster recovery and the impact that thoughtful donations can have on those in need.

About Reach Out WorldWide
Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) was founded in 2010 by the late actor/producer, Paul Walker. After a massive earthquake devastated Haiti, Paul spontaneously organized a relief team that responded to the disaster. On the trip, Paul saw a gap between the availability of skilled resources and the requirement for such personnel in post-disaster situations. Upon returning from Haiti, Paul established ROWW to fulfill this unmet need. Since Paul’s passing, ROWW continues to be a platform for like-minded individuals to make a difference in other people’s lives. It started as an idea and has transformed into a culture equally benefiting the volunteers as much as the people they are assisting. It’s turning the “I generation” into a “goodwill generation.” It’s giving good people not just a voice but a chance to act. To learn more about ROWW, donate, and get involved at roww.org.
